Side Hustlin'

This month I hit a big milestone in my side hustle. I hit $1000 in revenue. When I started my Instagram/Blog, I had no idea how I would make money. I definitely did not think I would be selling templates, and I definitely didn’t realize anyone would pay me to help them budget.

If you are wondering if you can make a side hustle, the answer is yes. If your goal is just to make some extra money and you don’t care how, there are a million options. You can drive for a ride share, do a meal delivery service, transcribe, tutor, take surveys.. The list goes on!!!!

Now if you want to make money in something you are passionate about, that’s where it gets harder but much more rewarding #fulfillment. The hardest part is starting. I used to think I was the most type A planner, but I’ve found my greatest successes have been when I started before I was ready. I created an Etsy shop and started selling templates in a few days. I expected to have 20 sales total… ever. Seriously. I thought at least it would be a few bucks and I would be done. As of me writing this I have made 38 sales and $927 in revenue there alone. The best part: this is passive income. If someone orders something, it takes 0 effort from me. I can literally sell them in my sleep. Finding a passive income stream is CAAA-CHING.

I also had thought about coaching a few times and just never got around to doing it because it seemed hard and I was nervous I wouldn’t be helpful (imposter syndrome anyone?). I finally committed and starting signing people up for a pilot. I had over 30 people DM me to sign up for the pilot! That is without 1 review of my service, just people who believed I could help! Now, I have about a million more ideas of things I can do to make money.

So this was totally about me, but for you my advice is to just start. Have an idea? DO IT. I don’t care if you fail. No one besides you will care if you fail (no offense ya know). But then it will lead you somewhere and then you’ll stop failing eventually.
